I am so excited at the prospect of making some new friends!
I believe wedding photography is done best when there is a genuine connection between a couple and their photographer. After photographing weddings for the past decade, I have learned that my best work happens when I’ve made great connections with my couples and feel more like a friend than a stranger upon arriving to a wedding day! So before we jump into all the nitty gritty, let me give you a better peek at who I am behind the lens and beyond…
about me
I am more than just the girl behind the lens..
I am a wife, a momma, & a dog lover who believes I was blessed with a talent that is meant to be shared with others. I spent several years working as an occupational therapist helping people return to activities that brought them so much joy. During that time, I realized I needed to pursue my own passion for ultimate happiness. I took a leap of faith to be a full time photographer, and I'm sure glad I did because it led me here to this conversation with you!

Paul is my husband and biggest supporter! We just celebrated 7 years married this year. He’s a teacher, coach, and someone who always seems to know how to put a smile on your face!

We have two beautiful little girls, Nora + Ella, who light up our world! Nora is almost 4 and she LOVES ballet and being a little comedian just like her daddy. Ella is 5 months old and the most smiley little baby you've ever seen.

I love a good clean-out and reorganization party (party of one?! Haha) I think it's just so refreshing once you get through a project! I'm a little obsessed with the cleaning and organizing-related tik toks right now...

When I'm not taking photos or trying to keep up with my kiddos, you can find me with my nose in a good book. Recent faves have been Fourth Wing and Iron Flame along with the A Court of Thorns and Roses series!

I started this business while I was in graduate school for occupational therapy. I graduated and began my career as an OT while continuing to build my photography business which has slowly grown to become my main focus and passion. I only work as an OT to fill in for jobs here and there now, but still love that career and its purpose as well!
my philosophy
I believe that most people want timeless, natural, and joyful images of the moments they are hiring me for. In order to get pictures that look like that, you have to feel completely comfortable with the person taking them. This will allow you to be fully at ease knowing your photographer is capturing who you truly are. If you are comfortable and feel good while you’re having your photos taken, you will love how you look in them later and will be filled with joy when looking back through your memories. I strive to make this comfortable connection with the couples I serve and I’m excited to share more with you about what this experience with me looks like!
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR EXPERIENCE & WHY
I have structured my wedding experience very intentionally to ensure that my couples are set up to get those timeless, natural, joy-filled images they are hoping for. Over the years, I have learned what I need to offer in order to fulfill my promise of creating a comfortable experience along with images that my couples love and treasure for many years to come! The most important aspects of the wedding experience that lead to this include:
-8 hour minimum-
I have found for a traditional wedding day, 8 hours is the sweet spot timeframe required for me to capture the full story of your day with a stress-free timeline.
-Complimentary Engagement Session-
I include a complimentary engagement session to allow us to get to know one another before the big day and to empower you as a couple to feel comfortable in front of the camera. This is crucial for your comfort level during portraits on the big day!
-Second Photographer-
This is a non-negotiable part of your experience. So many details and candid moments can be missed when only having one photographer. This is a key component to a stress-free timeline as well as an automatic safety measure in the event of an emergency on your wedding date.
