Abbey and Jacob met their freshman year of college and have been together ever since! When they graduated last year, they planned a trip together to celebrate the achievement. Little did Abbey know that Jacob had bigger plans than just hanging out on the beach for this vacation ;) During their trip to Myrtle Beach, they went on a hike at a local nature preserve. While hiking, Jacob searched for the perfect spot, and when he found a small clearing, he got down on one knee and popped the question! Of course Abbey said "Yes!" and they've been dreaming up their perfect wedding day since.
These two love to be outdoors, so the Franklin Park Community Garden Campus in downtown Columbus, Ohio was a perfect outdoor location to document their engagement portraits. They both are so incredibly sweet and were up for my endless ideas for posing at the park (even first thing in the morning after Jacob had worked an overnight shift! What a trooper!). I had so much fun capturing these two and cannot wait to celebrate them on their big day along with their families and friends in July!
