I've known Caitlyn for many years! We met when we were both working at Nationwide Children's Hospital on the Sports and Ortho Rehab team. It was a sad day for the office when she announced she was moving away and leaving our team! We all were pretty happy for her though because she was engaged and moving to HAWAII with her fiancé! When I learned she was planning their wedding back home (in Ohio) and she wanted me to be their wedding photographer, it was an absolute "yes!" from me. Their wedding day was amazing and so much fun. Because of their travel timeline, we didn't actually get together for "engagement" portraits until the next time they came to Ohio for a visit, after the wedding. Later, I of course was excited when Caitlyn announced she and Brad were expecting a baby! They've had a couple of moves since their wedding day, and still live outside of Ohio. So when Caitlyn reached out to say they'd be in Ohio for a baby shower and wanted to coordinate maternity portraits if possible, it was fate that the dates lined up with an opening I had. One of my favorite parts of this job is being invited back in to happy moments time and time again. Witnessing these two say "I do", grow as a couple, and now anticipate the arrival of their little blessing....it's what keeps me going! Sharing some of my favorites from their maternity session below.
